The following projects were completed gratis with low or no budget.
This is a song I wrote about attempting to clean an antique piston in an ultrasonic cleaner. This is a relic from my former YouTube channel which was named “The Burning Pan.”
This short artist profile was created for a friend who operates a tattoo-airbnb near a national forest in Montana. I filmed, edited, recorded an audio interview, and created music for this project.
I created this video for a Vimeo Weekend Project (back when that was a thing). I consider this to be one part “documentary-ish” blended with a dose of video art.
I find mushrooms and plants to be fascinating. This time lapse was filmed over the course of 8 long days using my old Panasonic GH-2. I used an intervalometer to take one exposure every 5 minutes. It definitely required patience, but it was worth the effort! I also created the music.
If you venture near fishable waters, you’re bound to come across a lost or discarded bobber at some point. This slightly-cringy-but-still-fun Christmas-themed video explores one possible way to handle that situation.
I documented this art & history event which was held in 2013 in Buffalo, NY. Filmed with “old reliable”, the Panasonic AG-HMC150.
Filmed in Buffalo, NY, this is a music video project I created for fun with a friend who is a talented local musician.
